This is a handcrafted, one-of-a-kind embroidery hoop inspired by the landscapes of cities and beyond. This piece won a Judge’s Choice Award in M.E.C.C.A.’s Object Afterlife Challenge in 2023. This piece also glows in the dark!

It feature's:

-the piece shown mounted in a 12” 16mm beechwood hoop

-hand quilted landscape made of various cotton calico and batik fabrics, embroidery floss, glass beads, and metallic thread.

-Glow in the dark beads and SULKY GLOWY thread

- various RAM chips 

 


My work is directly inspired by nature and the beauty of places I’ve lived or visited. I do not work from any patterns; each piece is made by hand to be unique and special.
