A little about this small business:

I started this small business in early 2019 and the "OR" in Needle OR Thread stands for Oregon. I'm passionate about supporting other makers and building community. I'm inspired by the landscapes of our stunning country, but mainly by those I see in the PNW. I believe art is for everyone and that includes you!

 I stitch to feel a connection with my ancestors, community, and to find fulfillment in something outside of motherhood. I'm also a teacher, passionately instructing at the University of Oregon's Craft Center, and in various other locations locally. I also happen to teach music, so sometimes I'll take breaks from my small business to substitute teach at local elementary schools. In my spare time I like to go for a good hike, sing, cook and spend quality time with my family! Thanks for stopping by!
