I'm Back: I've Missed You!

Gosh, have I missed you!

For the past 12 weeks, I have been taking a break from my small business to revisit teaching music as a long term substitute music teacher at my own children's elementary school. I know, it was kind of out of no where, but it was a good chance for me to take a break from creating for monetary purposes, and an opportunity to return to a former passion that I let go of when I had children. You see, I was BURNT out from creating for content on social media, and for others. So when the opportunity to help a friend arose, I decided it was the universe's way of telling me that making a short term shift would be good for me. And the universe was right--I have returned to focus on my small business with more determination and passion! I had so much fun making music with children again, and it helped restore my creative energy!

During my time away I realized that was stretching myself too thin. I thought expanding my offerings was the way to grow my business, but now I see that by doing so, I was robbing myself of my artistic joy. As a result of this realization, I'm going to be slowly tapering back the products I offer. I'll be putting a ton of listings on sale and once they are gone, I won't be replacing them. I'll still be selling Kai bent scissors, most Nurge products, and some fabric bundles, but I will be more select with what I stock.
